Proposal Daisakusen!
If there really is an anime god high above us, I’d surely receive my divine retribution for swaying away from the path of animeblogging and into writing about doramas.

I just finished watching Nodame Cantabile drama, and I have to say, its really nice! Its great to watch a live action about music. The last music themed live action I watched was Nana movie, and to date these are the only two shows to have made me shed manly tears of sorrow and joy!
The music is probably the nicest part of the show. Seeing how the actors play the piano, even though it might be fake, is still enthralling. Thanks to this show, I’ve been listening to classical on the radio, instead of my usual Gold 90 Fm lol.
Not that I’m losing interest in anime. I’ve still been getting my weekly dosage of Clannad, Kimikiss, True Tears, Hayate no Gotoku, just to name a few. I’m simply looking for more drama to watch now, any recommendations?

I’m sorry if you guys got to here via the good ‘ole bookmark and felt disappointed/angry at the lack of articles here. I’ve been rather busy with my real life recently.
I’m feeling very much jaded from work, and luckily its only a 6 month job before my University term starts. I’m working in telesales, for those who doesn’t know, and its interesting, but it does get repetitive sometimes. It sucks especially when you call some assholes and woke them up from their high and mighty slumber at 11am in the morning and they utter a string of expletives at you. It happened to me this morning, and it totally spoiled my day.
I’ve also been catching the season’s finer anime series, just that I’m too lazy to blog about them. Catching them on a daily basis is much better than marathoning a whole chunk at a time thats for sure. I’ve also been delving into the 3D world, with Nodame Cantabile(drama). Its freaking awesome, so catch it if you haven’t yet.
Lastly, there’s another important person in my life now, so I’ve gotta split my time into smaller slices. Sad to say that she’s like a real ojou-sama. LOL. No worries, I won’t desert this blog just yet. Pretty soon this blog will be back in action, in ermm…
6months?
Joking of course. Until the next time I’m free to post something of substance here, enjoy work, enjoy school, enjoy life. Ciao.

Not an eroge, but close.
If eroge are 18+, why do they almost always feature high school girls?

I admit I never was a fanservice fan. I dropped Goshuushou-sama Nimomiya-kun after the beach episode, and I never finished series like Love Hina and Ichigo 100% completely. While Rosario+Vampire is at first glance, another typical fanservice harem show, it did manage to catch my attention quite well.

Today KOTOKO’s birthday! I never knew how old she was, nor do I care. She’s got a great voice, she’s hot, and that’s what I like about her. Here’s wishing her a belated birthday, and all the best for her future works!
And here’s spamming her pictures.

SaiGar is the more manly equivalent of Saimoe. However, Saimoe actually contains moe characters, Sanzenin Nagi for example. Well how about SaiGar? Lets take a closer look at some of the more interesting entries.

I’ve been watching Kimikiss, for those who didn’t know. In fact, I didn’t tell anyone I watch this, cause its more towards romance, and guys who are into romance generally aren’t very manly. However, the plot in this fairly decent anime is getting so much better, so I’ve decided to do an entry on the character’s relationships and more importantly, which ones I think should pull through, and which ones should not.
(Post contains info up to episode 12, so spoil yourself if you want to!)

As soon as I had started AIR (which was about halfway through watching Kanon, the week-long waits in between new episodes of Kanon were driving me insane like an addict desperate for a fix), it struck me that there were a good number of similarities between the two shows. In fact, it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to say that Key was ripping their own work off when they wrote AIR (unlike the anime versions, with the visual novels AIR came after Kanon). And, unsurprisingly, many of those same similar plot elements carried on over to CLANNAD: but, you might be asking, what exactly are these recycled plot elements I’m talking about? Or maybe you’re wondering “if the stories are all so similar, why one would want to bother watching more than one?” Well, I’m answering both of those questions in this installment of Fairy Tale Love, so just click on that there “Read more” cut and all will be revealed.
(Note: I tried to keep things fairly spoiler-free, but some important plot details of AIR, Kanon and CLANNAD are discussed within. You have been warned.)

As promised, another chunk of text up here. I’ve been rather busy with my newfound job and in the end I don’t have much motivation to do labor-intensive posts. I actually planned on writing about some of the new animes, but that requires screenshots bleh =X
Anyway, today’s post is about something that happened during my sales training. Our trainer, a guy of 22, was trying to talk to us, the trainees, while waiting to knock off. Apparently, he was asking whether anybody watches Naruto when a female trainee suddenly proclaimed “Ohmaigawd, NARUTO! That’s semi porn!”
