Unlike people like PP, who actually have the moolah to order Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekisou, I had to resort to the wallet friendly method. Which I regret, cause its so good, i’m definitely gonna buy it NOW!

After a hundred years of searching, after fighting devious salesperson, squishing with hordes of manga fanboys/fangirls and after wading through tons and tons of yuri, yaoi and shoujo ai mangas, I finally found my prize…

They cost 8 bucks each, after sales discount. Oh well, Suzumiya Haruhi’s novels are 12 bucks, so i should probably stop complaining. But I guess SH novels are more expensive cause Yuki Nagato’s in there.

Anybody remembers rockson, the pseudo-gangster blogger with the analytical skills of a local politics graduate who criticizes the Singapore ‘gahmen’? He was pretty famous a year back. Well, he’s back!
I typed his blog address into my browser, wanting so see how many comments there are on his last post, dated July 2006(!), last i checked there were 400 plus. Many thought he was killed off or imprisoned by the secret LKY police. Imagine my surprise when i saw his latest post!
Couldn’t agree with him more. Rock on!

People are going crazy over the iPhone. Some have even stupidly imported it here, only to find that it doesn’t work. I’ve got a few friends who are determined to buy a set when it is released. But is it just a novelty item, like the Harry Potter series, where people read the book just for the brand name, when there are other better books out there?

Starting the first of my many many anime review is Lucky Star, currently my favorite anime. Its extremely funny, but you have to be familiar with the anime universe, seeing as there’s tons of references.
